A Web site is a great way for you to record your family history and for family members throughout the world to learn about how they got where they are today.

There are a number of different ways you can record and present your family history. You can write a narrative--or story--about you family's history. You could create a type of log in which you describe events that took place on certain dates, such as births, marriages, moves and deaths.

If you have a family tree, you could scan that as an image and include it on your site. You could also create a family photo album with captions for each picture that identify the people in the photo and where and when it was taken.
